I wanted to create a t-shirt that not only supports the cause but also something that people would feel proud to wear. There are so many people I know—friends, family, and loved ones—who have battled this terrible disease, both young and old.
Recently, I went for my annual exam and had the opportunity to see the images captured during the process. One of the images caught my attention and concerned me. Normally, everything checks out fine during my yearly visit, but this time, something didn’t look right. On my way home, I tried to reassure myself, reminding myself that I’m not a technician or a doctor, so I couldn’t know for sure what I was seeing, but all kinds of thoughts raced through my mind. I even Googled what a normal mammogram should look like when I got home.
In the end, I prayed and asked God to not let it be anything serious. The next day, I received my results, and praise God, everything was fine.
While we may not always enjoy these appointments, they are so important for our health.
